Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra ("OBCO") is pleased to announce our annual participation in Arts Alive!. Celebrating the arts in Prince William County, Arts Alive! will showcase some of our county's most talented musicians, dancers, actors, singers, artists, artisans, and writers. Under the baton of Maestro David Kirven, OBCO will present a performance highlighting each of our talented instrumental sections on the main stage in Merchant Hall. A stirring rendition of Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the common man will feature our brass and percussion sections. Our strings will perform Gustav Holst's Brook Green Suite, originally written for his pupils at St. Paul's Girls School during a hospital stay in 1933. Finally, our winds section will be featured as they perform Serenade for Winds in E-flat Major, composed by Richard Strauss when he was only 18 years old.

In addition to our Merchant Hall performance, the OBCO String Quartet will give a fun and lighthearted performance on the outdoor tent stage. We hope to see you there!
